JOB TITLE: Internship at Moxie Media

LOCATION: Remote

SCHEDULE: This is a 9 week internship taking place the week of June 5, 2023 through the week of August 4, 2023. The work schedule is 40 hours per week. (Flexible start/end date)

COMPENSATION: This is a paid internship with a stipend totaling $6,000

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Temporary, full-time (40 hours per week) for 9 weeks

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Attend and contribute in team meetings 
• Support active client accounts - taking notes in meetings, editing pdfs, proofreading pieces
• Assist with research and marketing projects on an as-needed basis 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Pursuing a degree in political science or familiarity with electoral politics with a passion for progressive issues
• Excellent communication skills and a strong writer 
• Ability to effectively work autonomously and as part of a remote team
• Proficiency in GSuite and Slack
• Ability to project prioritize and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Monday.com (desired but not required)
• Basic knowledge of political direct mail (desired but not required)

This internship is funded by the AAPC Education Foundation. The AAPC Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3), tax-exempt, non-profit organization founded in 2006 to support the American system of free elections, protect the freedom of political speech and to promote these principles among those involved in the electoral process.
