Analytical Mass Spectrometry, Ion-Molecule Reactions Internship Overview

Key responsibilities include:
- Modify mass spectrometer (linear ion trap) for ion-molecule reactions
- Reproduce literature examples of ion-molecule reactions to confirm successful system setup
- Demonstrate utility of ion-molecule reactions for AbbVie-specific small molecules to aid structure elucidation by mass spectrometry
- Collaborate with others within R&D team to extend application of ion-molecule reactions within AbbVie

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a PhD in Chemistry or related field
- Must be enrolled in university during the internship period
- Robust experience in mass spectrometry
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with ion-molecule reactions in mass spectrometry
